We have a lot to be proud of from the last 100 years. Over the last century, NC State engineers and computer scientists have made their marks on the world. Our students and alumni have led research breakthroughs, helped make engineering and computer science more diverse and inclusive, and made progress solving some of humanity’s most pressing challenges.
Engineering Online had its first graduate in 1984 in the Master of Engineering degree program and was the only distance degree program in engineering. Now, there are 18 programs available.
